Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 10 September 2026
Worksparks is a coaching space. This page sets out what it is for, what it is not for, and the small number of things that will get an account suspended.

This policy applies to everyone who uses Worksparks — individual subscribers, people using a seat paid for by their employer, and administrators of a team or organisation account. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Worksparks is operated by LeadershipHQ Pty Ltd (ABN [ABN]).

What Worksparks is for

Worksparks is for thinking through the people part of your working life: a conversation you’re dreading, a decision you keep circling, a manager you can’t read, a knock to your confidence. You can be completely honest in it. That is the point of it.

It is not a therapist, a lawyer, a doctor, or your HR department. See the AI and Coaching Disclaimer for what that means in practice.

Things you must not do

Use it to harm someone

  • Don’t use Worksparks to plan, rehearse or carry out anything unlawful, or anything intended to harm, threaten, stalk, harass or intimidate another person.
  • Don’t use it to build a case designed to mislead — for example, drafting an account of events you know to be false in order to have a colleague disciplined or dismissed.
  • Don’t use it to generate content that is hateful, sexually explicit, or that vilifies people on the basis of race, religion, sex, gender identity, sexuality, disability, age or any other protected attribute.

Mishandle other people’s information

Coaching means talking about real situations and real people, and you’re welcome to do that. But you’re responsible for what you bring in:

  • Share only what you need to in order to get useful help. You rarely need someone’s full name, and you almost never need their contact details, health information or personal circumstances.
  • Don’t paste in customer records, patient information, student records, or anything else you hold under a duty of confidence.
  • Don’t upload your employer’s confidential or commercially sensitive material if your employment agreement or your organisation’s policies don’t allow it. Check first.

Share, resell or automate your access

  • An account is for one person. Don’t share your login, and don’t let someone else use your seat.
  • Don’t resell, sublicense or repackage Worksparks, or charge others for access to your account.
  • Don’t use bots, scripts or automated tools to access the service, and don’t use it to generate content at scale for another product.
  • Don’t use Worksparks conversations to train, fine-tune or benchmark a competing AI system.

Interfere with the service

  • Don’t attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or extract the underlying models, prompts or system instructions.
  • Don’t probe, scan or test the security of the platform without our written permission, and don’t attempt to access another user’s account or data.
  • Don’t upload malware, or anything designed to disrupt or overload the service.
  • Don’t attempt to bypass usage limits, payment, or the safety behaviour built into the product.

Misrepresent who you are

Don’t impersonate another person, sign up with false billing details, or claim an affiliation with Worksparks or LeadershipHQ that you don’t have.

Extra rules for team and organisation administrators

If you administer a Worksparks account for a team or an organisation, the privacy architecture is not optional and not decorative. It is the reason your people will use the product honestly.

  • Don’t try to identify individuals. Don’t attempt to link a theme, a data point or an engagement figure back to a named person, and don’t ask us to do it for you. We can’t, and we won’t.
  • Don’t pressure people to show you their conversations. Asking a team member to open their Worksparks account, forward a reflection, or explain a theme they may have contributed to is a breach of this policy.
  • Don’t use Worksparks data in employment decisions. Engagement figures and organisational themes must not be used in performance reviews, disciplinary processes, redundancy selection, promotion or hiring decisions.
  • Don’t make participation compulsory in a way that removes the choice. Encourage it, resource it, model it — but a coaching space someone is forced into isn’t one.

Suppression thresholds exist so this holds up in practice. Team dashboards show engagement from day one and themes only once a team reaches ten or more people. Organisation themes require at least five distinct people before a theme appears at all.

Fair use

Worksparks is priced for ordinary human use by one person. There is a daily message limit of around 30 exchanges, which almost nobody reaches in normal use. If a pattern of use looks automated, or looks like several people sharing one seat, we may contact you, apply a limit, or suspend the account.

If someone is at risk

Worksparks is not an emergency service and no-one is monitoring your conversations in real time. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 000 in Australia, or your local emergency number.

In Australia you can reach Lifeline on 13 11 14 and Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636, both 24 hours a day. Outside Australia, findahelpline.com will point you to a service in your country.

Where a conversation suggests someone may be at risk, Worksparks will surface support options and encourage you to reach a human. It does not contact anyone on your behalf, and it does not alert your employer.

Equally, writing about bullying, harassment, discrimination or unsafe work inside Worksparks is not a report to your employer or to a regulator. If something needs to be reported, report it through your organisation’s process or to the relevant authority. Worksparks can help you work out how to say it, and that is where it stops.

What happens if this policy is breached

Most issues are a misunderstanding, and we’ll say so and ask you to stop. Depending on how serious the breach is and whether it continues, we may limit your account, suspend it, or close it. Where a breach involves a credible threat to someone’s safety, or where the law requires it, we may report the matter to the appropriate authority.

If we close an account for a breach of this policy, refunds are handled under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Reporting a concern

If you’ve seen something that concerns you — misuse of the product, an administrator asking to see people’s conversations, or a security issue — email hello@worksparks.com. We reply within two business days.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be notified by email to account holders and the effective date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use Worksparks after that date means the updated policy applies.
