How it works

Open it, say what's happening, leave with the words.

No appointments. No onboarding call. No setup. Most sessions take five to ten minutes, and you walk away with something you can actually use tomorrow.

A session, start to finish

Here's what actually happens.

Using a real example: you have to tell someone their performance has slipped, and you’ve been putting it off for three weeks.
Step 01 — the heat

Say it badly

Talk it out for sixty seconds, or type it. Describe it the way you’d describe it to a friend in the car park, not the way you’d write it up for HR. Don’t tidy it. Don’t work out what you’re allowed to feel first.

The messier the truth you put in, the more useful what comes back is.

Step 02 — the clarity

Separate the emotion from the problem

Worksparks pulls the situation apart. What’s actually happened. What you’re afraid will happen. Which of those two you can do something about. Usually they’ve got tangled together, and untangling them is most of the work.

In this example: the performance issue and your worry about the relationship are two different problems. They need two different sentences.

Step 03 — the resolve

Leave with the actual words

Not “communicate openly and build trust”. A specific opening line you can copy, the evidence worth bringing, and the question that gives the other person somewhere to go.
Say this

“I want to talk about how the last few weeks have gone, and I want to start by saying I’ve left this longer than I should have.”

Then the steps that follow it — what to bring, what to avoid, and how to close it.
What makes it different

This isn't a general AI tool with a prompt on top.

Worksparks runs on a coaching method built and refined over 35 years by Sonia McDonald, CEO of LeadershipHQ — out of several thousand real conversations with people who were stuck.

The method draws on how people actually behave under pressure: settling the physical reaction first, because you can’t think while your body is convinced something is on fire. Then reframing. Then the practical language.

That order matters. Most tools skip straight to advice, which is why the advice bounces off.

Specific to your situation
The response is shaped by what you actually said, not a template that would fit anyone. Add a detail and it adjusts.
Always there
Twenty-four hours, seven days. The conversation you’re dreading doesn’t wait until Monday and neither does this.
Built for your phone
In the car before you go in. In the bathroom before the meeting. Wherever the moment finds you.
Ends with something usable
Every session finishes with language, a structure and a next step. You don’t leave with a feeling. You leave with a plan.
Confidentiality

Nobody at your work can read this.

Most workplace tools are built for organisations to keep an eye on people. This one is built for the person using it.
No-one can read what you write — not your manager, not HR, not us
Conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest
Your data is never sold, and never used to train AI models
If your organisation paid for your seat, they've bought your access — not visibility of what you discuss
Built to the Australian Privacy Act and GDPR
You can delete everything, any time you like
Being straight with you

Some things need a person, not an app.

Worksparks is good at helping you think clearly and find the words. It is not a substitute for people whose job it is to act.

Please talk to someone as well if this involves

Bullying, harassment or discrimination. Threats or violence. A risk to someone’s health or safety. Something you think might be unlawful. A formal disciplinary or dismissal process. Or a serious worry about how you or someone else is coping.

Worksparks can help you get clear on what happened, what to write down and how to raise it. It can’t investigate, advise you on the law, or act for you. Your union, your HR team, a lawyer, your employee assistance program, or your GP can.

In Australia, Lifeline is on 13 11 14 and Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636. If someone is in immediate danger, call 000.

What's coming

Where this goes next.

Worksparks is early in its life. The product is live, people use it every day, and joining now still means a direct line to the team and a say in what gets built.
The core experience. Talk it out or type it, work through it, leave with the words. On your phone and on desktop.
It learns your context. Your industry, your team, how you tend to approach things — so the guidance gets more specific to you over time.
Shared features for groups. Including reporting for the person who bought the seats — seat list and how much the group as a whole is using it, from five people up, and never the content of anything anyone wrote.
Themes for organisations. For organisations of 25 people or more, a quarterly view of the general themes coming up — things like difficult conversations, or workload. Only where at least five different people raised something, and never the content of anything anyone wrote.
Integration. Worksparks inside the HR and learning tools organisations already run, so it sits where people already work.

Five minutes is all it takes to find out.

Bring the thing you’ve been carrying around. See what it looks like from the outside.
